I’ve probably used these jeans before , but they really are fantastic aren’t they?
Now, I just watched the movie ‘Unstoppable’ (Chris Pine, Denzel Washington) and GOOD LORD IT’s TENSE. I also couldn’t get over Mr Pine’s gorgeous rugged look, complete with high-vis vest. I think neon yellow accessories go perfectly with checks and denim. This look would really stop traffic (or ..trains?).

My ultimate favourite feel-good perfume is Daisy by Marc Jacobs. It is one of those scents that really make you feel special. Honey, the new eau de toilette, is out now too, it’s amazing ( sign up for free samples!). Daisy prints are everywhere this season, and I think it’s nice to really play to the girly, twee theme , with cute headwear and minimal jewelry. These Topshop shoes are great, snap up a pair before they’re gone!

I went out for Thai food with my cousin tonight to a wonderful place called Port of Siam on the harbour. I had prawn tom yum soup and jasmine rice, and Charlotte had seafood tempura and chicken satay, then we shared amazing thai prawn crackers, white wine, and apple & mango sorbet with mint. I swear it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
This look is inspired by the wacky colours, bold floral prints and soft silks of Thailand. These shoes are part of LK Bennett’s Oriental range. Long feathered eyelashes will really set it all off.

Today’s episode of Masterchef (yes I am obsessed) was at Warwick castle, which I also love. The medieval times were really interesting in terms of clothing and costume. This look takes a modern twist on the decorative and indulgent trends of devore, velvet, tasselling and lace. Brocade is always huge for A/W so stock up!

My mother told me that I should do a post aimed at middle aged women for once, so I thought what better way then to use her as the very inspiration! Now, she is a bit of a blacka-holic ( owns about 10 pairs of black jeans and 1000 black socks) , but is in love with anything velvet and never leaves the house with naked ears, neck or fingers. I adore her river Island boots, but sadly we are not the same size (She is 5 ft 2 compared to my 5.11… but she’s only steal my shoes anyway.) Long story short, she is beautiful and unique inside and out, and I love her to pieces! x

Gillian was made famous playing Ivy on 90210. Her style really is unique; she plays with contrast and interesting textures. I love her ott accessories and boho fringing, teamed with urban elements like the Levis. Overall you get a really laid back California feel. This lace cami from new look is part of their new range of floaty swing tops in the triangular shape, which look great with high waisted jeans and ankle boots. I’m sorry to use Docs again by the way but oh my god look at these velvet ones). Gillian is rarely seen without statement headwear, and I really believe that most people can pull hats off, you just need a bit of confidence.

Draped dresses are flattering for pretty much any shape, and the dipped hem of this on really elongates the legs. Channel an ancient Greek look by accessorizing white with gold accessories and leafy patters, and don’t forget gladiator sandals.
